The 2027 African Democratic Congress (ADC) Atiku Abubakar, has paid a visit to former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, following the conclusion of the party’s Presidential primaries.
In what was considered a reconciliatory visit, Atiku, who was declared winner of the primaries, arrived at the Amaechi’s Abuja residence on Friday.
NPO Reported that the ex-Vice President was on Wednesday declared winner of the ADC primaries with 1,846,370 votes.
Amaechi trailed behind Atiku with 504,117 votes while the third aspirant, Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, recording 177,120 votes.
Meanwhile, the election was disputed with Hayatu-Deen boycotting the collation as he alleged vote rigging during the election.
Amaechi, on the other hand, decried alleged voters’ disenfranchisement at the poll across the country.
Sequel to the collation and declaration of Atiku as winner, the former Vice President arrived at Amaechi’s residence in a purpoted move to get his backing for the 2027 Presidential eletion.
