APC disqualifies pro-Fubara Reps members, clears Wike allies for Rivers primaries

Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has suffered another setback as the All Progressives Congress, APC, House of Representatives screening committee disqualified three serving House of Representatives members loyal to him from participating in the Saturday, May 15 primaries.

However, the committee cleared all allies of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, including Martin Amaewhule, the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly.

This was contained in an APC list of screened and disqualified House of Representatives aspirants.

The disqualified Governor Fubara loyalists include:

Hon. Anderson Allison, representing Okrika/Ogu/Bolo Constituency

Hon. Abiante Awaji Imombek, representing Andoni/Opobo/Nkoro Constituency

Hon. Boma Goodhead, representing Asari-Toru/Akuku-Toru Constituency

Cleared Wike allies include:

Hon. Hart Cyril Godwin, representing Bonny/Degema Constituency

Hon. Blessing Chisery Amadi, representing Port Harcourt Constituency

Hon. Dumnamene R. Detor, representing Gokana/Khana Constituency

Hon. Martin Amaewhule (replacing O.K. Chinda, who bought the APC governorship forms), representing Obio/Akpor Constituency

Hon. Solomon Bob, representing Ahoada West/Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Constituency

Hon. Uche Felix Nwaeke, representing Eleme/Tai/Oyigbo Constituency

Hon. Victor Chukwuemele Obuzor, representing Ahoada West/Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Constituency

Other allies of the minister were also cleared to replace the three disqualified House of Representatives members.
