Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has arrived at the venue of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential screening.
Amaechi, a presidential aspirant, arrived at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja decked in his Niger Delta regalia alongside some of his close allies on Wednesday in preparation for the screening.
The former governor of Rivers State had last week officially declared his intention to run for president in 2027.
He made his intentions known after submitting his presidential nomination forms at the ADC secretariat in Abuja.
Speaking after submitting his presidential nomination forms, the former Minister of Transportation said he did not buy the presidential nomination forms to become a vice presidential candidate.
Amaechi insisted that he procured the forms in his pursuit to become Nigeria’s president.
