Veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has stated that he will not step into the ongoing disagreement between actresses Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham.
PrimeTimes Nigeria recalls that Funke Akindele reportedly ignored Toyin Abraham during the premiere of Iyabo Ojo’s movie in Lagos.
This public snub came months after the two had reconciled from a previous feud that lasted several years.
Ogogo, in an interview with Feel Right TV, explained that he avoids getting involved in conflicts between women, describing them as complicated.
He said that both actresses are already successful and blessed in their careers, making it puzzling that they would choose to fight publicly.
He noted that while men often resolve disputes quickly, women can turn small disagreements into major confrontations.
He said: “Women’s fights are too complicated to get involved in. I don’t interfere in women’s disputes. Both of them are blessed by God, so why are they fighting? When men have similar issues, they laugh over it and move on, but women will make a mountain out of a low hill with the same issues, so it’s difficult to interfere.
“It is only an unwise man that would interfere in women’s drama. If Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele have sense, they should know God has favored them. God blessed the two of them already, and the next thing they think is right is to be fighting. They should focus on their achievements rather than fueling controversy.”
