United Kingdom-based Nollywood actress, Victoria Inyama, has claimed that getting a female circumcision is one of the best things that happened to her.
PrimeTimes Nigeria reports that Victorial made this known in an Instagram Live session with media personality, Daddy Freeze.
When asked by Daddy Freeze if she was circumcised, Victoria responded in the affirmative, noting that she lived with her grandmother when she was a little girl.
According to the thespian, circumcision has helped her to maintain a healthy life and prevents her from being promiscuous in nature.
She said she was about 5 or 6 years old when she underwent the circumcision process, and she passed out in the process as the pain was too much.
She said, “Yes, I was circumcised. Because I grew up in the village with my grandmother, that is what is helping me. That’s the best thing they did for me. I swear to God because if I say I am not doing, I am not doing. And that is the power that I have as a woman, and anybody who tries me, I will give you back. No one can say they saw me in hotels. That’s the best thing my grandmother did for me”
When asked if she would allow her daughters to be circumcised, she said she cannot be the one to make such a decision, as it falls solely on their father.
