Former Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, has declared that he has no intention of dumping the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He also declared that he is not dumping his interest in the 2027 governorship race for Nasarawa State despite the endorsement of Senator Aliyu Wadada by Governor Abdullahi Sule as his preferred governorship candidate under the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Addressing his supporters, Adamu urged them to disregard suggestions that he would dump the APC for another party due to Wadada’s endorsement.
He vowed to remain in the APC and contest to the end.
“Since Governor Sule endorsed Sen. Wadada for the Nasarawa 2027 governorship, people are saying I will change party. It’s a lie. I will stay in the APC and will contest till the end,” Adamu declared.
