Nigerian comedian I Go Save has shared his reaction to the ongoing marital crisis involving former Big Brother Naija star Angel Smith.
PrimeTimes Nigeria reports that Angel recently tied the knot with her partner, Tumininu, in the United States. The marriage, however, ran into problems shortly after the ceremony, as tension began to grow between the couple.
Not long after the wedding, Tumininu accused Angel of being unfaithful. She claimed that Angel was involved with another woman she reportedly met through a dating platform. The allegation quickly spread online and drew wide attention from the public.
The situation has also stirred reactions from many Nigerians, especially over the role played by Angel’s mother in supporting the union. Some people have openly criticised the decision, adding to the growing debate around the matter.
Amid the controversy, I Go Save took to social media to share his thoughts. In his reaction, he compared the situation to marriages between men and women, suggesting that men often endure a lot in relationships. He expressed surprise that the union between the two women ran into trouble so quickly after it began.
He wrote on his Instagram story; “Men are really trying when it comes to marriage matters! A woman got married to another woman, and the marriage didn’t even last 70 hours. She couldn’t handle what the other woman was doing.”
