Rick Ross is weighing in after reports that Pooh Shiesty was charged in connection with the alleged kidnapping and robbery of Gucci Mane.
In a video posted to his Instagram Stories, Ross said he feels for both men but made it clear that he believes the situation should never have happened.
“Guwap most definitely didn’t deserve that,” Ross said while speaking from Prague. “And I don’t want to see this for the little homie, Pooh Shiesty.”
Ross then addressed the reported dispute over Pooh Shiesty’s contract with 1017 Records.

“In business, you got to negotiate,” he said. “If you were signed for $100K and now you got $10Ms on the table, it’s time to negotiate.”
According to Ross, trying to use intimidation in a business disagreement only makes things worse.
“You can’t muscle your way out of no s–t and no business,” he said. “Negotiate. It’s time to educate.”
Ross also said he wants to see artists from the South resolve conflicts rather than turn on one another. He recalled helping reconnect Gucci Mane and Yo Gotti during a feud.
“It was no disrespect,” Ross said. “Rozay just wanted to plant that seed.”
Pooh Shiesty and eight others, including his father, are currently facing federal charges.
