The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has come under fire after the African Democratic Congress (ADC) released a video showing Nafiu Bala in attendance at the unveiling of David Mark as the party’s interim national chairman at Abuja’s Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre.
PrimeTimes Nigeria reports that, in the video shared on 𝕏, ADC said INEC representatives were also present at the event.
Bala was also seen seated near key figures, including Senator Ishaku Abbo and Kenneth Okonkwo.
The post read, “ADC releases Video where Nafiu Bala was sighted at David Mark Leadership Unveiling after he tendered his resignation. The @inecnigeria representatives where also present at the Event. The new video exposed Nafiu Bala’s attendance at the ADC unveiling ceremony of David Mark-led leadership held in Abuja, July 2025.”
The video has since generated mixed reactions and backlashes from many Nigerians, especially as INEC recently derecognised Mark and Rauf Aregbesola as the National Chairman and Secretary of the ADC.
