Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has sparked controversy with claims surrounding the recent African tour of streamer IShowSpeed.
Speaking on the development, Kuti said he initially believed he was invited to meet the popular content creator, only to later discover what he described as a different agenda.
“I thought I was going to meet IShowSpeed. The promoters of the tour called me. Only to find out the day before yesterday that Elon Musk was the one that sponsored the whole thing to know where his satellite don reach for Africa. All that was a spy job,” he alleged.
The comments suggest, without evidence, that the tour may have been linked to satellite coverage assessments across Africa, a claim that has not been independently verified.
