Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, has opened up about her love for Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedures, but added that she is still afraid to undergo the surgery.
PrimeTimes Nigeria reports that Funke made this known during an appearance on ‘The Morayo Show’ hosted by media personality, Morayo Afolabi-Brown.
While expressing admiration for the aesthetic appeal of BBL, Funke Akindele cautioned that anyone considering the surgery should weigh the risks carefully.
She said, “I must say, I love to see beautiful women with beautiful bodies. I actually like it. I am not talking about the excess ones, but the normal ones. I want to do it but I don’t have the mind.
‘I am not against it. If you want to enhance your beauty, go ahead, but be careful.”
Funke Akindele’s remark comes amid heightened attention on BBL surgeries, which have remained among the most talked-about cosmetic procedures, especially in the entertainment industry, where the pressure to achieve a certain body ideal often clashes with safety concerns and public health warnings.
Meanwhile, Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi, has shared why his relationship with fellow actress Funke Akindele broke down.
PrimeTimes Nigeria reports that he revealed they stopped communicating after he told her he had completed his house.
Fabiyi made the claim during a live TikTok session, where he spoke about his past friendship with Akindele and how things suddenly changed between them.
According to him, their bond had lasted for years, and he could not point to any issue or wrongdoing on his part that led to the silence.
He said the last time they spoke was on the day he mentioned that his house project had been completed.
From that moment, he claimed, Akindele cut off communication without any explanation.
The actor used the situation to reflect on his experience in the movie industry, describing it as a place where people are not always what they seem.
He said many individuals are often seen as kind or sincere by the public, but reality can be different behind the scenes.
