Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has shared an important life lesson.

Sharing photos of herself in white, she said she isn’t a loud or desperate type and is just aligned and becoming.

Aigbe said she has learnt that real power is quiet, focused, and consistent. She added that every day, she shows up for the woman she is becoming, and she never disappoints.

“Not loud, not desperate… just aligned and becoming.

I’ve learned that real power is quiet, focused, and consistent.
Every day, I show up for the woman I’m becoming — and she never disappoints”.

A few days back, the wife of Kazim Adeoti had reacted after a fan crowned her the ‘003’ of Nollywood. She replied with a video of herself vibing to Fast Fast Comot, a song by artist Mavo. The lyrics focus on moving quickly, living fast, and not letting anyone hold you back.

In a video posted on her Instagram page, she spoke on growth, revealing that it requires one to outgrow versions of themselves that people are still comfortable with. Aigbe revealed that the hardest part of growth isn’t changing, but accepting that not everyone will understand your evolution.

The message came after her tension with Funke Akindele at Iyabo Ojo’s movie premiere. The two, who are cast in the movie, were captured on stage together, celebrating the premiere’s success. In the clip, Mercy, who stood between Iyabo and Funke, was seen giving the actress a snaky remark as Femi Adebayo came to greet them.

During Ramadan, the mother of two had embraced modesty, revealing that modesty, grace, and international beauty are her desires. She prayed that her light always reflects Allah and prayed that the holy month soften people’s hearts, strengthen their faith, fill their homes with peace, and bring countless blessings.

Last year, the movie star beat several of her colleagues, such as Meg Otanwa, Tina MBA, Ireti Doyle, Ini Dima Okojie, Omoni Oboli, and Darasimi Nadi, to win Best Supporting Actress for her role in Farmer’s Bride at the AMVCA 11th edition.

Days before the AMVCA, Aigbe reflected on her first AMVCA and noted that she has received several nominations since then. The wife of Kazim Adeoti expressed gratitude despite having been in the industry for over twenty years, she is still relevant and still gets nominations. Aigbe said she can’t override the power of consistency, authenticity, and reinvention in her journey
