EFCC declares Lagos woman, Halimat Tejuosho wanted over fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, a 41-year-old woman wanted over an alleged case of obtaining money by false pretence.

In a notice issued on Monday, the agency said the suspect is being sought in connection with the alleged fraud, urging members of the public to assist with credible information on her whereabouts.

“The public is hereby notified that Halimat Adenike Tejuosho… is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in an alleged case of obtaining money by false pretence,” the statement read.

According to the commission, her last known address is House A26, Aso Grove Estate, Maitama Extension, Abuja.

The anti-graft agency called on anyone with useful information to contact its offices nationwide or report to the nearest police station and other security agencies.

It reaffirmed its commitment to tracking down suspects linked to financial crimes, stressing the importance of public cooperation in ongoing investigations.
