Controversial singer Portable has returned to the headlines with his shenanigans and tantrums with influencer, Tunde Perry.
Kemi Filani reported that influencer Tunde Perry alleged that a meeting was held in which some industry executives decided to cut ties with Portable over what he described as repeated misconduct. According to him, Portable’s behaviour hasn’t only affected his own career but also made some industry figures more cautious about supporting new artists.
Perry also claimed that Olamide had been more sceptical about assisting rising talents after his experience with Portable, who broke into the scene with his help.
As expected, Portable responded to him, warning those behind the alleged blàcklist. He insisted that he doesn’t rely on any executive to succeed, as his fans are enough to keep him relevant.
Following his statement, the two linked up at media executive Soso Soberekon’s house, where Portable created a scene. In a video making the rounds online, the street was seen shirtless, holding a chair and ranting at Perry, as security intervened.

A week ago, the singer had reminisced on his painful experience with MC Oluomo’s protege, Koko Zaria. He said he still remembers when Oluomo invited him to perform at Oshodi and saw Koko Zaria carrying his babymama and fondling her b**bs, with his one-year-old child present. Portable admitted he was deeply hurt by his behaviour and questioned whether the socialite thought he had forgotten.
Kemi Filani reported in 2024 that Portable had launched a tirade against her over her alleged affair with Koko Zaria, an aide to MC Oluomo. He accused her of sleeping with the media aide in front of their son and alleged that she was sleeping with 36 men and threatened Koko Zaria.
Last year, Portable had confronted, Odunlade Adekola over a statement he made to his partner. He noted how everyone loves to tag him as a troublesome person when he is loyal and doesn’t joke about his family.
In January of 2024, the street singer had cried out to Nigerians after landing in the hospital following beating from his colleagues. He questioned if it’s only the dead Nigerians fight for, as he noted how there was a lot of evidence, yet no one was calling for justice for him.
Refreshing your memory, Portable was mercilessly beaten by Nigerian-American singers, Esquare over failure to perform at their show. Narrating the incident, Portable claimed that he was attacked by 40 people and they had badly injured him and left him with a broken leg.
