Nollywood actor Nosa Rex has been left overwhelmed following a surprising gesture from his senior colleague, Omotola Ekeinde.

In a video captured online, the legendary actress gifted him flowers as she praised his personality. The two had recently worked on Omotola’s production, A Mother’s Love.

Praising him, Omotola said there is something special about the actor, as he brings positive vibes and energy to the movie set. She noted that she was under so much pressure, but working on set with Nosa calmed her nerves.

“There is something about Rex; he brings these positive vibes and energy. He has the spirit of not worrying over things. This was my first ever film that I was directing. I was really tense; I was trying to be perfect, but everything wasn’t, and it was falling apart. One of the times I enjoyed the set was when he came”.

Nosa, who was blushing, appreciated the actress’s recognition.

I don’t know what to say. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it.”

In other news, Nosa had cried out against the toxicity on social media and its aftereffects on an individual’s life. He claimed he is still active on social media because it is one of his sources of income. He warned against using one’s fame to create enmity without worrying about the future.

After the death of Junior Pope, the light-skinned actor had gotten into a heated argument with a movie director for ordering him to dive into a river. Baba Rex stated that he had never seen such in his script, and the two got into a heated argument over it, and Nosa urged the director to lead the way first, and he would follow suit. He made it clear that he would never dive into any river, even if he were paid N20 million.

Yvonne Jegede noted how his death could have been avoided if only he had worn a life jacket or if Nollywood producers had done better. She further read the riot act to movie producers, telling them to do better and to give up being a producer if they can’t produce a good film.

Ini Edo, made a similar statement, slamming the poor structure of the industry that has taken a toll on them. She lamented the actor’s death which she called a sacrifice for the realization of the need of the much needed regulation and structure that would safeguard an entire production.

Upcoming actress, Sarah Martins had dragged Adanma, noting how her recklessness had cost her the lives of people. She described the actress’ movie as a low-budget movie trying to raise local standards without providing the necessary amenities.

Jide Awobona, on his part, made a case for Adanma Luke, noting how such an unfortunate incident could have befallen anybody. He stated that it is a norm in Nollywood and when one refuses to do certain things, they are being tagged as difficult and called unprofessional.
