Brandi Glanville is opening up about the painful health battle and says the father of her children, Eddie Cibrian, wasn’t supportive.
During a recent podcast appearance, the former Real Housewives star revealed she spent roughly $200,000 searching for answers before learning her decades-old breast implants had ruptured.
“They were making me sick,” she said, explaining that she saw 21 doctors, including specialists and infectious disease experts. “Every doctor you can think of, I saw.”
Glanville, 53, described mysterious symptoms that appeared suddenly, including brain fog, extreme fatigue and unusual lumps in her neck. Although mammograms showed no immediate concerns, a sonogram later revealed that one implant had ruptured, with silicone detected in her lymph nodes.
Two weeks after having the implants removed, she says she already feels a difference. “The first week, I was up. I was actually doing too much because I was so excited to be moving,” she shared.
Still, the journey has felt lonely. Glanville claimed her ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian, did not support her through the ordeal, though she noted they remain cordial for their sons. “He has not,” she said when asked if he showed up for her. “But we are getting along and that’s all I can ask for.”
After what she called “dark times,” Glanville says she is slowly rebuilding her confidence and focusing on healing.
