NLE Choppa is expressing regret after controversial comments he made about Chrisean Rock’s son during an online feud.
The Memphis rapper addressed the situation during a recent Twitch livestream, where he reflected on his clashes with fellow artists and said he wanted to change his focus moving forward. During the broadcast, he apologized directly to Chrisean Rock for the remarks he made about her young child while arguing with Blueface online.
“I genuinely apologize for what I said about your beautiful baby boy,” NLE said during the stream. “I can’t believe I let my emotions get that far.”
The artist admitted that his frustration during the feud led him to say things he now regrets.
“You didn’t deserve that,” he said. “The baby didn’t deserve it.”
NLE also acknowledged that Rock handled the situation with composure despite the criticism surrounding her family.
“I see you trying your best,” he added. “And I salute you.”
The apology comes after the rapper faced backlash for comments he made during a heated exchange tied to Blueface’s boxing challenge. In a video that later circulated online, NLE made jokes about the children involved in the dispute.
Now, he says he wants to move forward, focusing on personal growth.
