Amy Luciani Posts Photo Of White Powder — Says It’s Destroying Her Marriage To Dwight Howard
The drama between retired NBA star Dwight Howard and his wife Amy Luciani is spilling out into the open — and it’s getting messy.
Amy shocked fans after posting a photo showing a small pile of white powder, which she claimed belonged to Dwight. In the emotional message, Amy suggested that the substance is one of the major issues destroying their marriage.
It’s not clear what the white powder actually is. But online speculation started immediately, with some people suggesting it could be crystal meth — a drug that has been widely used in gay nightlife circles in Atlanta. Dwight lives in Atlanta, and the former NBA star has previously acknowledged being bisexual, which fueled even more online chatter.
At this point, however, there has been no confirmation of what the substance actually is.
CPS CALLED TO THE HOUSE
Along with the photo, Amy posted a lengthy statement describing serious issues inside their home.
According to Amy, Child Protective Services has been called to their house multiple times in recent months.
She wrote that CPS had been contacted three times in less than two months, and that during the most recent visit authorities reportedly left the house with one of the children.
Amy did not clarify which child was removed but noted that her stepson is only 12 years old.
POLICE CALLED DURING THE MARRIAGE
Amy also claimed that she personally called police on Dwight three separate times during their 14-month marriage.
She said the situation escalated during one visit by CPS and law enforcement, when Dwight allegedly asked her to help provide an alibi.
Amy said she refused.
CLAIMS ABOUT THE STEPSON
In her statement, Amy alleged that Dwight then coached his son to lie to authorities.
She wrote that she recorded a conversation with the boy where she confronted him about it.
According to Amy, the child admitted he felt guilty about following his father’s instructions.
Amy also emphasized that she loves her stepchildren deeply and that speaking publicly about the situation was not an easy decision.
A MARRIAGE FALLING APART
Amy revealed that she had previously filed for divorce just six months into the marriage but decided to give the relationship another chance after friends encouraged her to try to make it work.
Now she says she regrets that decision.
“Look what I’ve gotten myself into,” she wrote in the emotional post.
Amy says her heart is broken but that she feels she has a responsibility to speak up for the children involved.
NO RESPONSE FROM DWIGHT
As of now, Dwight Howard has not publicly responded to Amy’s allegations.
And until he does, the situation remains a series of claims made publicly by Amy — claims that have now placed their troubled marriage squarely in the spotlight.
