Maino is stepping further into his ongoing feud with 50 Cent.
The Brooklyn rapper released a new diss track titled “Bleed Like Us” on March 11, delivering a pointed response aimed at the G-Unit founder. The song arrives amid a wave of exchanges between 50 Cent and several New York rappers that have been unfolding across social media and new music releases.
Over a beat produced by Bandit, Maino questions 50 Cent’s tough reputation while making it clear he is ready for the lyrical battle to continue.
“N—as bleed just like us,” Maino raps on the track’s hook. “Picture me being scared of a n—a that never shot nothing or killed s–t.”
He continues by calling out what he sees as exaggeration in 50 Cent’s public image.
“All that killer imagery, you just only rap about it,” he says in another verse. “Shot nine times, you capped about it.”
The song also includes lines where Maino accuses the rapper of relying on marketing and trolling to maintain his presence in the spotlight.
Maino’s release follows 50 Cent’s recent diss track “No More Tricks, No More Tries,” which features Max B and takes aim at several artists, including Jim Jones, Dave East, and Fabolous.
