Kendra Wilkinson Responds To Critics After Fans Say She’s “Aging Poorly”
Former Playboy Playmate and reality star Kendra Wilkinson is speaking out after critics on social media claimed she’s “aging badly.”
And instead of clapping back with anger, Kendra is doing something unexpected: she’s embracing it.
The former reality TV star, who first rose to fame on The Girls Next Door, has largely stepped away from the Hollywood spotlight in recent years. These days she’s living a much quieter life working as a real estate agent outside Los Angeles and raising her two children.
But when fans recently started commenting on her appearance online, Kendra decided to address the criticism head-on.

Kendra Says She’s Done Using Filters
In a candid message to fans, Kendra admitted that she used to rely on beauty filters when posting online.
But not anymore.
The 39-year-old says she’s now choosing to show herself exactly as she is, wrinkles, weight gain and all.
“I used to use a light filter on myself but now I’m just embracing myself as it is,” Kendra wrote.

She also acknowledged that some people online have been less than kind about her appearance.
“I’ve seen many people comment saying I’ve aged ‘poorly’ and that is ok. I’m ok with aging ‘poorly.’”
“I’m Happier Than I’ve Ever Been”
While critics may have plenty to say, Kendra insists she’s actually in the best place she’s been emotionally in years.
According to her, letting go of the pressure to impress people has brought a sense of peace she never felt during her television fame.

“For some reason I’m happier than I’ve ever been lately even with a little weight gain and wrinkles and I’m not going to tie my happiness again into the negative energy.”
Kendra explained that she spent nearly two decades trying to meet other people’s expectations.
“I was very young when I started TV and lived a crazy chaotic 20 years of impressing others. But now it’s about me. Giving back to me.”
Life After Reality TV
Kendra’s life today looks very different from her Playboy Mansion days with Hugh Hefner and the glamorous lifestyle viewers saw on reality television.

These days, her focus is much simpler.
She’s working in real estate and raising her two children, now 16 and 11 years old.
And according to Kendra, watching them grow has become her greatest source of happiness.
“I’m now a realtor and a mom of a 16 and an 11 year old. Watching them grow has been my ultimate happiness over everything else.”

Less Fame, But More Peace
Kendra even acknowledged that her new life comes with less money and far less fame than she once had.
But she says she wouldn’t trade her current happiness for the chaos of her earlier celebrity years.
“I’m a balanced, single, positive, fun woman who loves life… I’m so beyond grateful for today.”
In other words, while the internet may still judge her appearance, Kendra Wilkinson seems perfectly comfortable with the woman she’s become.
