Media Take Out has some concerning news regarding our favorite Bronx Queen, Cardi B. We all know Cardi doesn’t just “dance” when she hits the stage—she puts her entire soul (and body) into every performance. But her signature high-intensity moves may have finally taken a toll.
During her headlining set in Houston last week, Cardi was doing what she does best: high-octane choreography that involves a lot of… let’s call it “rhythmic impact.” But according to fans in the front row, one specific stunt went a little too far.
The Incident: Did A Chair Routine Go Wrong?
While performing one of her chart-topping hits, Cardi began a segment of the show involving a chair. Known for her “violent gyrating” and athletic stage presence, Cardi was seen slamming her backside against the prop as part of the routine.
However, mid-move, the audience noticed something shifted. On-lookers claim that her backside appeared to lose its usual shape, with some suggesting an implant may have actually broken loose.
“It looked like something snapped,” one fan posted on X. “One side was moving totally different from the other. It looked painful!”

The Science: What Actually Happened?
For those who aren’t familiar with the “gluteal” arts, doctors typically create what is known as a “skin pocket” when inserting implants. This pocket is designed to keep everything in its proper place.
However, medical experts warn that extreme physical trauma—like repeatedly and forcefully slamming that area against a hard object—can cause the pocket to tear. If that happens, the implant is no longer secure and can move or “flap” uncontrollably under the skin.
Beyond just being an “unsightly” wardrobe issue, a displaced implant can lead to serious health consequences, including inflammation or the need for emergency corrective surgery.
Cardi hasn’t addressed the rumors yet, and she’s continued to post her usual high-energy content on Instagram. But fans are urging the “Bongos” singer to take it easy and get a check-up before her next tour stop.
