Katt Williams made it clear he had no plans to soften his voice while discussing fame, power, and comedy during a recent conversation with Big Boy TV on Super Bowl Sunday.
Williams explained why he continued to say things others avoided. “I’m not scared to say nothing,” he said. “I’ll say it.” He explained that confidence came from years of building outside traditional industry systems, often funding and producing his own work. “I knew my actual worth,” he said, noting that understanding his value made creative risks feel necessary.
The comedian also revisited his viral 2024 appearance on Club Shay Shay, which sparked conversations about celebrity accountability. Williams said that moment was deliberate but measured.
“The knockout punches were taken out,” he explained, describing his remarks as “jabs” meant to spark reflection rather than destroy careers.
That approach carried into his newest stand up special, Katt Williams: The Last Report, which debuted on Netflix on Feb. 10. The project continued his run of unfiltered commentary, following earlier specials that leaned into uncomfortable truths.
Williams said he intentionally stepped back from the spotlight at times to prepare his next moves. “I’m disappearing to do the behind-the-scenes work,” he shared.
