Ja Rule was quick to give his side of the story after footage of a tense airplane exchange with Tony Yayo began circulating online.
Not long after the clips spread, Ja Rule addressed the situation directly on X, brushing off the moment with humor and bravado.
“I popped on these punks by myself on a plane lmao,” he wrote, adding that he threw a pillow during the exchange. “I threw the pillow at Yayo head cuz you soft. Knocked ya hat all off. That s–t was hilarious.”
Ja Rule also shared what he said was a message from TMZ requesting comment about the incident. According to the message, witnesses claimed the argument took place on a Delta flight from San Francisco to New York and described Ja as the aggressor, alleging he yelled profanities and attempted to escalate the situation before tossing a pillow.
