On a recent episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, commentator Marc Lamont Hill claimed GloRilla’s sister, Victoria “Scar Face” Woods, nearly cost him thousands during negotiations for an interview.
“I didn’t get scammed, but we was on the verge,” Hill said, explaining that Scar Face initially asked for $5,000 to appear before agreeing verbally to $2,500.
Things shifted when Scar Face allegedly demanded the full payment upfront.
“She said, ‘That’s how business works,’” Hill recalled. When he explained that his network pays after interviews, she countered with a split payment. Hill agreed to half before and half after, calling it fair, but said she refused unless she was paid in full first.
“I said, ‘It’s cool. I wish you the best of luck,’” Hill shared, adding that she later tried lowering the upfront fee to $500 and then $250, which he still declined.
The story arrives amid weeks of family drama between Scar Face and GloRilla. Scar Face has accused the rapper of abandoning relatives, claims GloRilla denied during a livestream where she said tensions date back to childhood.
Several artists have weighed in publicly and GloRilla’s own parents have denied Scar Face’s allegations.
