Zulum appoints 168 aides, 104 board members

Babagana Zulum, governor of Borno State, has approved the appointment of 168 aides, chairmen, and members of various boards, agencies, and commissions in the state.

In a statement released by the secretary to the Borno State Government, Hon. Bukar Tijjani, the appointment comprises 9 Senior Technical Assistants (STA), 81 Senior Special Assistants (SSA), and 78 Special Assistants (SA).

Zulum equally approved the appointment of 104 persons as chairmen and members of various boards, agencies, and commissions in the state.

The statement noted that the appointment was based on powers conferred upon the governor by Section 208(2)d of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999, as amended.

The SSG said in the statement that Governor Zulum congratulated the new appointees and looked forward to their contributions to the development of Borno State.
