Femi Fani Kayode has vowed to stand by Ayodele Fayose who is prosecuted for stealing

Nigerians have criticized a former minister of culture and tourism, Femi Fani-Kayode, over his statement on the Israeli force’s attack on Iran.

In a statement on his X page on Friday, Fani-Kayode accused the Israelis of staging a weak retaliation over the attack carried out by Iran against Israel.

He mentioned that the Israelis are “only good at slaughtering innocent and defenseless women and children in Gaza.”

“Poor little Israel. Sent three little micro-quadcopters that were shot down in mid-air and did not even have the guts to claim responsibility for them.

“Is that what you call a strong military response to Iran? Where is your much-touted power and strength?” Fani Kayode queried.

“I guess you are only good at slaughtering innocent and defenseless women and children in Gaza.

“When faced with the prospect of a full-scale war with Iran, you tucked your little Jewish tails between your legs and ran away. It is pitiful. Shame on you,” he added.

On May 16, 2021, he called on all Christians to “stand by Israel,” saying, “It is an article of faith for all Christians to stand by Israel. There are over 100 million Christians in this country who love and revere Israel. We pray for her every day and bless her.”

He added that “Israel can and will never be defeated. If provoked, she will bring all her enemies to their knees.”

Reacting to the statement, Omedike, an X user, described Fani-Kayode as “a man of double standard. You change like the weather. Minister of stomach infrastructure, just give @realFFK money, and he will sing for you in the next few minutes.”

Safrey Biz noted that Fani-Kayode “is always speaking from both sides of his mouth. Why is he always flipping from one side to another? That’s why he’s the worst hypocrite we’ve ever seen.”

Sammie Majestas alleged that “he wants to please his brothers in the north so they can help him with a political post. He’s trying to be on their good side. This man is not hard to predict.

“Just like Obasanjo said, give FFK a bowl of rice, and he will sing your praises till eternity.”

“The evolving FFK is now anti-Semitic. And he claims to be a historian who should have known better. He once was a fan of Israel until he joined APC, the evil party,” Jeremy Whyte stated.

Describing him as a “poor thing,” Obong Uby Benson mentioned that the former minister is “so confused. You flip the script to support whoever your current bank roller supports.”

“Femi, you have problems. What do you intend to gain from all this nonsense? Is that what will give you an appointment in the Tinubu government?” Henry Olanipekun queried.

Patrick Ita alleged that Fani-Kayode’s statement was sponsored by “cash” from Muslims.

“Who knows this one? You are now praising and standing with Muslims because of the cash a Muslim friend gifts you. Shame! Do you think we don’t know you? Tomorrow, when a Christian starts giving you money, you will be shouting Islamization,” Ita stated.

Alexander Ukwoma also alleged “It seems he was paid to be saying all this; some group of people or organizations that are affiliated with Hamas may have lobbied him because FFK, I know, is in a strong romantic relationship with money. He can kill for it.”
