Nigeria police says ‘one with gun is majority’
The Nigeria Police Force, Lagos State Command, has warned the public to desist from challenging, daring, and attempting to disarm any officer.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, Lagos State PPRO, wrote on his official X handle on Monday.
“Ladies and gentlemen, especially the woke generation, for your safety, please STOP:
“challenging or daring an armed person to shoot.”
“Asking an armed person, in a daring manner, how many people he or she can kill.
“Attempts to disarm an armed person.”
“It never pans out well; nowhere in the world does it. A shot, once fired, can never be retrieved. A life once lost can never be brought back.”
“Remember, one with gun is majority.
Hundeyin added, “Note: This is not only about armed police officers; this is about any armed person, security forces, or criminals.”
