Charley Ray Harris and Martha Jean Harris shared a love story that lasted more than six decades. Their journey together began when they were just 12 years old, and by the age of 19, they had married. For the next 65 years, they remained devoted to one another through every stage of life.
In May 2021, the couple from Joelton, Tennessee, was admitted to a hospital in Nashville after both developed different health complications. At first, they were placed in separate hospital rooms, but as their conditions became more serious, the medical staff arranged for them to be reunited.
