Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on Wednesday earned glowing commendation for his humility, reliability and strong faithfulness from former Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Pius Odubu, who described him as a dependable leader and loyal friend whose virtues would continue to elevate him to greater heights.
Odubu gave the commendation during his birthday thanksgiving service held at his residence in Benin City, where Governor Okpebholo joined family members, political associates and other dignitaries in celebrating with him.

“I say you are the epitome of humility, humble, reliable, and dependable friend. I don’t know how best I will describe you. Since I’ve come to know you, you have proven to me to be faithful to God and faithful to friends. It is a virtue that will take you higher than where you are today,” Odubu said.
Governor Okpebholo attended the thanksgiving alongside the Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa; the Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon.
