NPFL to organize workshop for league clubs’ media directors, marketing heads in Enugu

The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, is set to host a mandatory workshop for Media Directors and Marketing Coordinators of all  the twenty Clubs in the nation’s premier League.

The workshop, according to the organisers,is on commercial and media innovation for the 2026/2027 League Season, aimed at enhancing the visibility and market value of the league

In NPFL correspondence sent to the clubs, the NPFL noted that the workshop is part of the league’s commitment to repositioning the league as a commercially viable, professionally managed and globally competitive football league.

Representatives of the Clubs are expected to arrive in Enugu on Tuesday, July 28th, 2026, while the Seminar begins on Wednesday 29th July, at the Ozom Hotel, Independence Layout, Enugu.

The NPFL further stated that attendance by the aforementioned Clubs’ officials is mandatory as failure to comply would attract severe fines on the defaulting Club.

Reacting to the invitation, Eche Amos, Media Director of Nasarawa United and President of the NPFL Media Directors Forum, urged all Media Directors of the NPFL Clubs, particularly those of the newly promoted Clubs, to endeavour to attend in order to be at par with leagues’ trends around the world.
