Massive crowd has on Thursday trooped out in the Iwo town in Osun state to witness the official opening of the reconstructed road in the town by the state’s governor, Ademola Adeleke.

Adeleke arrived at the inauguration ceremony with other officials and members of the Imole Campaign Council.

While the project was considered landmark project as it is the first dual carriageway in the ancient town, the audience were however more thrilled by Adeleke’s signature dance moves.

The governor, alongside the town’s traditional ruler, the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Adekanbi, entertained the crowd as they danced to ‘Dem Go Feel It’, one of the hit songs of Nigerian afrobeats singer and cousin to the Osun governor, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido.

Video capturing the moment showed Adeleke displaying his dance skills as he summoned other officials to join him on the podium.

Meanwhile, the Imole Campaign Council, in a statement issued on its official X handle after the event, described the project commissioning as a testament to Adeleke administration’s commitment to the growth and development of every nook and cranny of Osun State.

The council held that the overwhelming reception by the good people of Iwo is a strong affirmation that they recognize and appreciate purposeful leadership.
