A teenager was on Sunday killed by suspected illegal street racers in Imo State.
The incident reportedly occurred around 6:30 p.m on Sunday at the front gate of the Imo State University Campus along Okigwe Road.
Video capturing the incident and shared on X, showed the moment the teenager identified as Chibuike ran into the speeding car while attempting to cross the road.
The car swept Chibuike off his feet dragging the mobile accessories trader few metres away before stopping.
Subsequent video showed moment onlookers rushed the teenager, who had reportedly died on the spot, into the car.
The illegal street racing was also reportedly to have claimed the life of another victim knocked down by the car racers.
This could however not be confirmed as no official statement has been issued by the police over the incident.
