Nollywood actor Jim Iyke has weighed in on the popular debate that ‘School is a scam’.
In a recent interview, he said he partially agrees with it, noting that he is doing better than all his lecturers. Iyke recalled that he ran into one of his professors months ago, and that he was in Economy class while Jim was in Business.
Iyke further pointed out how most wealthy men in the country didn’t go to school. He stressed that no one can win him in this debate, as he has more points.
“There’s some truth to school na scam.
I’m doing better than all my lecturers. I met one of my professors months ago – I was in Business class while he was in Economy.
Most wealthy men in this country didn’t even go to school. Nobody can win me in this argument”.
Similarly, actress Didi Ekanem had lamented the consequences of adulthood. The serial entrepreneur revealed that her degree certificate was still resting in her father’s cupboard while she was struggling to make a living outside her area of studies.
In other news, Facebook content creator MC Mbakara fumed at Jim Iyke after the actor gave him a handshake when they ran into each other in an elevator. Mbakara, who wasn’t pleased with it, questioned what it would have taken him to smile at him, instead of walking away hurriedly.
The talented actor had sent a word of prayer to strong men, praying that they don’t go with flowers and chocolate where others go with lubricant and condoms.
In a previous post, he addressed men, telling them that if it costs money every time they visit their woman, then it’s no longer a relationship but prostitution.
A few weeks back, in a cryptic message to men, he stated that a man whose focus is on building an empire must either be single or with a partner. He stated that such men need to take a Queen and not a clown seeking attention from the entire village.
Though Jim Iyke keeps his relationships private, the actor has been married twice and has 3 kids.
In 2022, Iyke revealed for the first time that he had been married twice, but those marriages failed, adding that he now has three kids. He revealed that he is always strategic and very unpredictable, and that is why the media and no one knows about his marriage, when it failed and his three kids.
Two years ago, he won the praises of many when he took accountability for his failed marriage. He blamed his crashed marriage on the death of his mother, which affected him emotionally and led to a change of behaviour, which made him detach from his wife.
