A Lagos-based businesswoman whose fabric shop was badly flooded has taken the disaster with an unusual twist as she urged Nigerians to patronise her rather than sympathising with her.
The businesswoman, in a caption on a video posted on her TikTok handle, @Sherryfabricsbackuppage, solicited for patronage.
The video captured the woman dancing around her flooded store as song of Nigerian fuji icon, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as KWAM 1, plays in fthe background.
Lagosians had since the beginning of the month been faced with heavy flooding on account of heavy rainfall.
Several residents and shops have been ravaged by the flood with businessowners recounting their losses.
