In a rare endorsements of policies of the secular world, the Auxiliary Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Orlu, Most Rev Thomas Obiatuegwu has eulogized Gov Hope Uzodimma for embarking upon the total reconstruction of the Orlu-Mgbee -Akokwa Road.
He was particularly excited that the governor decided to permanently rebuild the Mgbee bridge, which had remained intractable for more than four decades.
The Bishop who undertook an independent assessment of work being done on the road, especially the bridge, expressed appreciation to the governor for a ” fantastic work “
According to him, ” I’m at the site to see what they are doing, and I discovered that they have done wonderfully well,in fact, they are almost done.”
Bishop Obiatuegwu described the quality of work done at the bridge as exceptional, saying that it would certainly last for a long time.
He explained that he personally did the video of the work and sent it to the governor to appreciate him for a work well done
” I did the video myself to send it to Onwa( governor) for him to know what is being done. I don’t know whether they have been sending him updates, “the Bishop said.
He prayed for the governor to continue to deliver quality jobs for the people of Imo State, as exemplified by the road, especially the Mgbee bridge.
