Villa manager Unai Emery played a key role in pushing for the transfer, having identified Garnacho as a priority target since the winger’s move from Manchester United to Chelsea last summer. Emery has now finally secured the Argentine’s services as he looks to strengthen his attacking options ahead of the new season.
