The Founder and Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has warned Christians against becoming resistant to correction, describing the inability to accept rebuke as one of the greatest dangers in a believer’s spiritual journey.
Speaking during a recent sermon broadcast on the ministry’s YouTube channel, Suleman said every effective leader must first learn to be a faithful follower, stressing that leadership is built on submission to authority. He noted that believers who reject correction often place themselves on a path of spiritual decline.
“The worst thing that can happen to you is for you to grow beyond rebuke,” Suleman declared.
The cleric said many Christians become offended whenever they are corrected by their pastors or church leaders instead of appreciating the concern shown towards their spiritual growth. According to him, rebuke is evidence that a person is still considered valuable enough to receive guidance.GET FULL STORY HERE.
