Two women believed to be commercial sex workers, popularly referred to as “olosho” in local slang, have been arrested by security operatives following an alleged violent altercation over a client at a hotel in Lagos State.
According to report and the Trending video, the incident occurred late at night at a hotel located in one of Lagos’ busy commercial districts. The disagreement reportedly started after both women claimed ownership of the same client, leading to a heated argument that quickly escalated into a physical confrontation.
Sources at the scene said the women exchanged blows in full view of hotel staff and guests, causing panic and drawing attention from nearby residents. Hotel management was forced to intervene as the situation became increasingly disruptive.
Witnesses alleged that furniture and other hotel property were damaged during the fight. Security personnel attached to the facility reportedly stepped in to restore order before contacting law enforcement authorities.
Officers who responded to the distress call arrested the two women and transported them to a nearby police station for questioning. Authorities are said to be investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, including allegations of public disturbance and property damage.
A hotel employee, who spoke on condition of anonymity, described the scene as chaotic, noting that guests were alarmed by the sudden outbreak of violence.
“The argument started verbally, but within minutes it became physical. People had to separate them before things got worse,” the staff member said.
Police officials have not yet released the identities of the suspects. However, sources familiar with the investigation said both women may face charges related to breach of peace if found culpable.
