A man who got N100,000 giveaway from bandits’ livestream session on TikTok has cried for help as he claimed that the bandits are demanding N100 million from him in return.
As captured in a video shared on Instagram on Tuesday, the man, identified by his TikTok handle as Sikiru Adebayo, said his he had joined the livestream session of the insurgents last week and paid N100,000 after following their handle.
Speaking in Yoruba, he diclosed been sent a mail immediately after the livestream session with the bandits ordering him to pay back N100 million.
“I’m here to confess that I came across the bandits on their livestream.
“They said they will give whoever follows them money and I followed them.
“I’m among those who followed them. I thought they just trying to catch fun.
“The moment I collected the money, I received an e-mail from them demanding N100 million from me. It’s only N100,000 I was given. Please come to my aid.” The man said.
