Tensions between Israel and Iran have reached a new high. According to Iranian media reports, Israel has carried out attacks in Tehran, Isfahan, Tabriz and several other areas in western Iran. Residents reported hearing loud explosions in these cities. Explosions were also reported in Karaj.
Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, quoting sources, said that Israel targeted several locations in Tehran, Isfahan, Tabriz and western Iran. However, there is no official information yet about the scale of the attacks or the damage caused.
Israeli media claimed that the Israeli Air Force carried out the strikes without entering Iranian airspace. At the same time, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it had targeted bases of anti-Iran Kurdish groups in the Sulaymaniyah region of Iraq.

Security Measures Tightened in Israel
As tensions continue to grow, Israel has increased security measures across the country. The Home Front Command has ordered the closure of schools and educational institutions nationwide.
Hospitals have been told to prepare to operate from underground facilities if needed. A nationwide alert has been declared, and public transport services will run at around 75% of their normal capacity. The Israel Airports Authority said there are currently no changes to airport operations, but security agencies are closely monitoring the situation.
IRGC Claims Israeli Missile Attack
The IRGC stated that Israel launched attacks on several locations inside Iran early on Monday morning. According to the organisation, air-launched ballistic missiles were used in the operation, which it described as an attack by the ‘Zionist enemy’.
Iran’s state news agency IRNA also reported that several targeted strikes had taken place. Earlier reports had already mentioned explosions in Tehran, Isfahan, Tabriz and Karaj.
Israel Says Military Sites Were Targeted
According to Israeli media reports, the Israeli Air Force carried out operations against military sites in central and western Iran. Some reports suggested that the strikes were a response to recent Iranian missile attacks on Israel. The latest developments have further increased tensions in the region. Analysts describe this as one of the most serious military confrontations between the two countries since the ceasefire agreed in April.
Several countries have increased aviation security measures, while Iran has imposed restrictions on some airspace around Tehran as a precaution.
