The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Ekiti State Chapter, has congratulated Gov. Biodun Oyebanji on his victory in the recently concluded governorship election in the state.
The congratulatory message is contained in a statement jointly signed by the Chairman of the association in the state, Qozeem Oladapo, and the Secretary, Bisi Ogunleye, on Monday in Ado-Ekiti.
SWAN attributed the governor’s landslide victory to what it described as his impressive performance during his first term in office.
According to the association, Oyebanji’s administration recorded remarkable achievements across various sectors of the state’s economy, particularly in sports development.
“Your administration has performed creditably in all sectors of the state, and SWAN is particularly delighted with your achievements in the sports sector.
“We pray that God grants you divine wisdom, knowledge and good health to continue to pilot the affairs of our dear state,” the statement said.
The association also congratulated the Technical Adviser on Sports Development to the Governor, Olusola Osetoba, for her unwavering support for the governor and contributions to sports development in the state.
