Self-acclaimed Yoruba ethnic advocate, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has issued an ultimatum to the Fulani leaders in his hometown in Oyo sate to secure the release of the victims kidnapped by suspected bandits.

Sunday Igboho gave the ultimatum while addressing the Fulani leaders at the palace of the Igboho king on Saturday.

The former Yoruba nation agitator decried the spate of kidnapping in Igboho town where a pregnant woman was reportedly murdered by her abductors alongside the person who brought the ransom for her release.

Addressing the Fulani leaders in Yoruba, Sunday Igboho, in a video shared on X, threatened reprisal attack on their community if the other kidnap victims are not released.

“I will storm your community and kill everyone I find there.

“You can’t be kidnapping people on our fathers’ land. Here is my father’s land. I am the only one that bears Sunday Igboho.

“You kidnapped someone with pregnancy and the person who came with the ransom money, you killed him and the pregnant woman in this Igboho.

“I give you two hours to find and bring back the woman kidnapped with her son and sibling. If we don’t see them in two hours, we will clash here.” He said.

Sunday Igboho warned against recurrence of another kidnap incident in the town which he claimed to have largely been targeted at indigenes.

“You are not even scared or afraid of me. This must be the last. Ever since they have been kidnapping and collecting money for ransom, have they have never kidnapped a Fulani person. It is only Yoruba.

“You are visitors here in Igboho.” He said.
