Supporters of the African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, have on Tuesday accused the Department of State Service (DSS) of kidnapping Sowore and went further to threaten the officials.
This was seen in a viral video made on X.
NPO Reported that Justice Mohammed Umar had, on June 16 revoked a bail granted to Sowore following his failure to appear in court his trial.
He appeared in court on Monday in company of members of his group with placards bearing the inscription, “Resist Oppression.”
In the video, Sowore supporters were seen banging the Federal High Court gate in Abuja and cussing the security on standby.
One of the supporters who was recording the demonstration continually accused the DSS of kidnapping Sowore and stated that he submitted himself instead of running.
“See the kidnappers, see the kidnappers, they kidnapped Sowore. This man came and submitted himself, he did not run. He’s a presidential candidate,” Sowore supporter.
Sowore’s supporters warned the armed officials not to shoot at anyone and call it an “accidental discharge”
“Tomorrow we go block everywhere. As you hold that gun like that no do anything like accidental discharge. Na so una Dey do. Una go release bullet kill innocent people.“
