Nigerian singer Chimamanda Chukwuma, popularly known as Qing Madi, has surprised young TikTok sensation Dolapo Ezieke the breakout star of the viral “Come Slide” challenge with gifts and cash.
The singer shared the heartwarming moment on her social media story on Friday, weeks after Dolapo’s performance in the “Come Slide” challenge drew widespread attention online and earned a reaction from Qing Madi herself.
A video posted by the singer showed her presenting Dolapo with a Frozen-themed backpack, toys, and a red gift box during a playful interaction.
As the excited child attempted to express gratitude, Qing Madi stopped her, saying, “Don’t say thank you yet. Don’t say thank you yet. This is yours. You don’t have to say thank you.”
When the red box was opened, it was revealed to contain multiple stacks of Nigerian naira notes in ₦500 denominations.
Dolapo, visibly overwhelmed by the surprises, repeatedly said, “No… No… No… I want both,” drawing laughter during the light-hearted exchange.
Dolapo rose to prominence through classroom videos posted by her teacher, Imikan Inyang, popularly known as Backhat Dude, an Accounting graduate of the University of Uyo currently serving in the National Youth Service Corps in Ekiti State.
What began as simple classroom content featuring Inyang and his primary school pupils has grown into one of Nigerian TikTok’s most followed wholesome content series.
Among the trends the group participated in was Qing Madi’s “Come Slide” challenge, with Dolapo’s performance emerging as the clear standout.
The video gained so much traction that the singer jokingly reacted at the time, saying, “Make una beg Dolapo to give me my song back.”
Dolapo has since become the face of the classroom group, earning a growing fanbase for her confidence and expressive personality.
Her personal TikTok account, managed by her mother, has attracted nearly 50,000 followers as viewers continue to follow her activities beyond the classroom.
