The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released the deployment list of prospective corps members for the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I exercise, urging them to follow the necessary steps before embarking on journeys to their respective camps.

This announcement was made by the scheme on Monday via a series of posts shared on its official X handle.

While informing the intending corps members that their deployment details are now available for verification, the NYSC wrote, “2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Deployment has been released.”

The body, in separate posts, issued various guidelines to facilitate smooth registration for those who are ready to head to their respective orientation camps nationwide.

On the issue of the security of lives and property, the NYSC said, “Prospective corps members are advised not to travel at night to the orientation camp.”

The scheme also counselled them to ensure they “print and sign the Form, which is to be submitted during Registration at the Orientation Camp”.

It further warned against reporting to camp without sorting out possible mix-ups with their institutions’ Student Affairs Officers (SAOs).

“Prospective corps members with discrepancies in the Date of Graduation on their call-up letters and the date on their statement of results will not be registered in the orientation camp.”

The NYSC also noted that those “whose names on their certificates or statements of results are not exactly the same as the name uploaded to the NYSC portal should contact their institutions to ensure the name tallies before” embarking on the journey.

Finally, it informed those serving in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, and those posted to Lagos State that some of them will undertake their orientation course in neighbouring states.

.... read, “Some PCMs deployed to FCT will have their orientation course in Benue, Nasarawa, Kogi, Kano and Kaduna camps.”

It continued, saying some of those “deployed to Lagos will have their orientation course in Ekiti, Kwara, Ondo, Ogun and Osun camps”.

Usually, the release of the deployment list is one of the key stages in the NYSC mobilisation process, coming ahead of the orientation course for newly mobilised corps members.

Prospective corps members are expected to log into the NYSC portal to verify their deployment status and obtain further information regarding reporting dates, orientation camp requirements, and other guidelines for the service year.
