The Gamaliel & Susan Onosode Foundation (GAMSU) has honoured Master Ajisafe Qoreebulah Olamilekan with the Gamaliel Onosode Award for Academic Excellence.
The award was presented during the foundation’s Founders’ Day and 13th anniversary celebration held in Osogbo, Osun State.
Qoreebulah, an alumnus of Eeman Foundation College, Boripe Community, achieved straight A grades in the 2024/2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
His performance was officially confirmed by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) at its Annual General Council Meeting.
The award recipient is currently a 100-level student of Medicine and Surgery at the Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun, Osun State.

According to GAMSU, the award was established to promote academic excellence and encourage students to pursue outstanding performance through discipline and consistency.
Mrs. Toyin Olanrewaju, Executive Director of GAMSU, said the recognition was intended to inspire young people to strive for excellence.
“This kind of achievement deserves to be celebrated. When we honour excellence, we signal that excellence is the standard,” she said.
She added that the foundation remained committed to sustaining the values and legacy of the late Gamaliel Onosode through educational support initiatives.
The award comprised a certificate of recognition and a laptop for the student.

Eeman Foundation College also received a cash prize of N250,000 and a certificate of recognition for nurturing academic excellence.
Founded in May 2013, GAMSU is a non-profit organisation dedicated to advancing quality education through infrastructure development, scholarships, teacher support and youth empowerment programmes.
