Former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai has appeared before the Federal High Court in Kaduna as proceedings continue in his ongoing corruption trial.
He arrived at the court on Monday accompanied by officials of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), alongside operatives of the Department of State Services and the Nigeria Police Force.
The case centres on allegations of abuse of office, fraud, and financial misconduct during his tenure as governor, with prosecutors claiming that public funds were disbursed for projects that were either not executed or were allegedly mismanaged.
