The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has announced that Nigerian music superstar David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, will take the stage at the Los Angeles edition of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert series, scheduled for Wednesday, June 10.
In a statement released on Tuesday, FIFA revealed that the Los Angeles concert will feature Diplo’s Major Lazer alongside Davido, with more acts expected to be announced in due course.
The event is part of an unprecedented series of synchronised live concerts taking place simultaneously across the three World Cup host nations Canada, Mexico, and the United States as part of the build-up to the tournament.
The Los Angeles show will be held at the Crypto.com Arena, with doors opening at 5:00 p.m. PT and the live broadcast set to commence at 6:00 p.m. PT.
Performances will also be streamed live from Mexico City and Toronto, connecting audiences across all three host countries in a unified celebration of football and culture.
FIFA World Cup 2026 Chief Tournament Officer for the USA, Manolo Zubiria, described the concert series as a celebration of the passion, unity, and cultural bonds that define the World Cup experience.
He noted that with the opening match just two days away, Los Angeles one of the world’s foremost entertainment capitals would serve as the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable night of music, football, and global celebration.
Tickets go on sale from Wednesday, June 3, at 10:00 a.m. PST. The concert will also be broadcast globally through FIFA’s digital channels, with an exclusive social media livestream on the FIFA World Cup social media page.
