A Catholic priest, Fada Angelo Chidi Unegbu, has claimed that convicted Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, leader Nnamdi Kanu had warned Nigerians about t3rrorism before the country’s security crisis escalated, but that his warnings went unheeded.
In a post on his official social media page on Friday, Fada Angelo described the IPOB leader as a prophet, lamenting that his cautionary message was not taken seriously at the time.
“Mazi Nnamdi Kanu warned us. The people prayed for a prophet. A prophet was sent, but they did not recognize him,” he said.
The cleric asserted that those who ignored Kanu’s warnings about escalating violence were now seeking a messiah to deliver them from insecurity, t3rrorism, and oppression, suggesting that the answer they seek may have already been placed before them.
Fada Angelo went on to declare that no external saviour was coming to resolve the country’s present security challenges, urging Nigerians to take responsibility for their own liberation.
“No one is coming to save us from this present security challenges. We are the ones we have been waiting for,” he said.
He called on Nigerians to stand together in courage, unity, and purpose, stressing that collective resolve remains the most powerful tool against fear and darkness.
“Our liberation begins the day we choose to stand together. I am happy many brains have been returned to factory settings. That is the first condition,” he added.
