Broda Mike questions Peller’s decision to marry at 21

Nigerian content creator and actor Broda Mike has reacted to the recent marriage of popular TikTok star Peller and his partner, Jarvis Jadrolita, expressing concerns about the timing of the union.

According to reports, Peller, 21, traditionally married Jarvis, 25, on Saturday ahead of their planned white wedding ceremony.

The development attracted widespread reactions online, with fans and celebrities sharing their opinions on the couple’s relationship.

Speaking in a video posted on his Instagram page on Sunday, Broda Mike argued that the young content creator may have rushed into marriage following his rapid financial success and growing fame on social media.

The actor maintained that Peller should focus on building his future and making strategic investments rather than settling down at such a young age.

“Justice for Peller, tell yourself the truth. If Peller were your brother, would you allow him to run into marriage?” he asked.

Broda Mike further stated that marriage can be challenging and suggested that young people who have just started enjoying success may not fully understand the realities and pressures that come with life and relationships.

According to him, Peller’s current stage in life should be more about securing his future and expanding his opportunities.

“Peller only needs investment now, not marriage,” he said.

Drawing an analogy with business, Broda Mike explained that people who experience early success often become excited before facing the inevitable challenges that accompany growth.

He suggested that Peller’s enthusiasm mirrors that of a young entrepreneur who has yet to encounter setbacks.

“Small pikin wey just start business dey shout say gain wan kill am. The pikin never experience failure or downfall from the business,” he said.

The content creator also referenced the age difference between the couple, noting that Jarvis is older than Peller. However, he stopped short of criticising the relationship directly and instead acknowledged that love and personal choice ultimately belong to the individuals involved.

“The girl senior Peller, but what money cannot do does not exist,” he remarked.

Despite his reservations, Broda Mike concluded by congratulating the couple and expressing hope that the marriage would succeed.

“Anyway, congratulations. I pray it works out. It really surprise me,” he added.

The comments have sparked mixed reactions on social media.

While some users agreed with Broda Mike’s concerns about marrying at a young age, others defended Peller and Jarvis, arguing that age alone does not determine the success or failure of a marriage.

Several fans pointed out that many people marry in their early twenties and build lasting relationships, while others noted that financial stability can help couples navigate some of the challenges of married life.

Supporters of the couple also argued that outsiders cannot fully understand the dynamics of their relationship and should respect their decision.

Peller and Jarvis have become one of Nigeria’s most talked-about social media couples, attracting millions of followers through their content and online interactions.

Their relationship has frequently generated headlines, from engagement rumours to speculation about their plans.

The announcement of their traditional wedding has therefore intensified public interest, with many fans eagerly anticipating their forthcoming white wedding ceremony.
